Files

General files can also be added to an HMI content package. The following file types can be added via the Add new item dialog (right-click in the project node):

• HTML file
• JSON file
• CSS file
• Text file
• XML file

Other file types (e.g. PDF files) can also be added via the Add existing item dialog. The files in the HMI project can be uniquely addressed using the Package ID (package name).

Images that are dragged and dropped from the Gallery or File Explorer onto a designer from a content or view are automatically copied to Imports/Images.

The .nuspec file in the HMI Framework project defines which files are copied to a NuGet package. The file must be adapted for other file types. See Package creation
