Overview

The TwinCAT 3 PLC Profiler enables the runtime analysis of PLC projects within the TwinCAT 3 development environment. The profiler is used to capture, record and analyze the execution times of individual program blocks.

The profiler supports the identification of time-intensive program parts, the detection of inefficient programming and the early detection of runtime problems. The analysis results can be used to optimize PLC code.

The TwinCAT 3 PLC Profiler is fully integrated into the PLC development environment. The elements to be measured are configured directly in the PLC project. Measurement marks are automatically inserted into the code during compilation. The measurement results and analysis outputs are displayed in the development environment.
