Boot Settings

Under this tab you can define the boot- and autostart-settings for the local- or targetsystem.

If you want TwinCAT to execute one or several PLC-programs automatically at system start, you have to configure the number of runtime-systems first ( see PLC settings) and download the boot projects.

Boot Settings 1:

Auto Boot:

When you choose 'Run Modus (Enable)' under 'Auto-Boot' the system starts with a user logon.

Auto Logon:

When you choose the option 'Auto Logon' additionally, TwinCAT starts in the runtime mode and executes autonomously the loaded and released boot projects.

Boot Settings 2:

If a CX device with Windows XP embedded is used via "Remote Desktop", the default setting must be complied with: Default User: Administrator, Default Password: 1.
