Drive Controlled Homing (SERCOS)

A SERCOS drive offers the homing function as a drive-controlled sequence. In this case, referencing is therefore not performed by the TwinCAT NC system, but by the drive itself. This sample shows how drive-controlled referencing is initialized and triggered by the TwinCAT PLC.

The procedure for saving and installing the sample program is similar to the Axis movement example

The sample program uses the following special error codes:

16#FFFFFF - The sample program does not support parameter scaling in S-0-0044.

16#FFFFFE - The SERCOS drive has aborted the referencing process with error.

16#FFFFFD - The referencing process has been completed but the drive has not set the reference flag in S-0-0403.
