Internal sequence

If the axis was started and no stop is active, the request 'new target position' causes a query to ascertain whether

• the axis has exceeded the new target or whether
• the axis cannot be stopped before the new target.

In these cases, the axis is stopped internally via a stop and then automatically moved back to the new target position. Otherwise, a new runtime table is calculated and activated.
The function 'New target position' must not be activated as long as a position compensation is carried out.
If the desired target velocity was not attainable when the axis was started, and if the old desired target velocity is attainable after a new target position is requested, then this is also attained, i.e. an axis that was previously moving slowly can suddenly become faster after a new target position is requested.
