Overview
The TwinCAT Management Server enables the central administration of Beckhoff controllers. Software updates can be applied conveniently from a central location in a network. In addition to the option of switching selected devices to a different operating mode or restarting them remotely, the TwinCAT Management Server enable full operating system updates to be generated.
The TwinCAT Management Server enables network devices to be grouped into logical groups. For each group actions can be defined which are then executed by the respective devices. Basic actions such as copying, deleting or renaming files and folders are available in the form of scripts. The basic actions can be consolidated into complex update scenarios and used in dedicated scripts via the script editor.
