Positioning axes

Positioning axes are translatory or rotatory axes, which can be interpolated independent of the path axes compound in the same NC-channel. Each positioning axis has its own axis interpolator and can be moved with its own feedrate.

Restrictions:

The programming of an positioning axis movement is not allowed, if:

• This axis is a clamping axis
• This axis is currently active in synchronous operation
• A kinematic or cartesian transformation is active and some specific conditions are not active
• Block search is active
• Simulation modes (Online-Simulation, Contour visualization, Production time calculation) are active
• Spline interpolation is active
• Polynomic contouring is active
• Turning functions are active
