Direct/ indirect selection (G41/G42) of TRC
With the next moving block in the part program during direct or indirect selected TRC in the related correction plane an approach block is generated.
Notice | |
Approach blocks can only be generated for linear traverse blocks, that means for the contour combinations: Straight - Straight Straight - CircularA selection of the TRC under a contour combination Circular - Straight Circular - Circularleads to an error message. |
When selecting TRC, it is possible to select an alternative approach strategy (direct selection of the TRC) with G138, besides the standard approach strategy (indirect selection of TRC).
The following figures show all possible approach blocks regarding the permitted contour transitions. Two NC-blocks NC10 and NC20 are respectively illustrated for the three relevant contour transition angles.
