Drive independent switching of drive functions

In contrast to the SERCOS specific commands according to chapter 11.18 the following commands allow the drive independent setting of drive parameters. The parameters only can be set synchronously, this means the execution of the command takes place on interpolator level now of processing. In the default setting the execution of the #DRIVE command is done parallel to the following processing of the NC program. This means, the program processing is not stopped. To stop the interpolation until the successful execution of the drive function, the parameter „WAIT“ can be used.

The command #DRIVE WAIT SYN can be used if the check of the successful execution of the drive function is only necessary at a subsequent time.
