Filter programming
For reaching a high surface finish during free form surface processing, any excitation of machine oscillations have to be avoided as far as possible. With HSC filters the user has the possibility, to smooth the commanded axis values for the drives and so to minimize the excitations for the machine. As a result, deviations from the programmed contour can occur, but these can be limited by the user. Contrary to conventional low pass filters HSC filters do not distort the contour, this means parallel paths in diametrical directions remain parallel.

A requirement for the use of this functionality is the complete and correct configuration of the axis specific filter parameters[2]-26. |
For the selection and for the parametrization of the filter programming the following NC command is available:
#FILTER [ON | OFF] [HSC] (modal)
HSC Keyword for the selection of HSC filter.
Programming example
N1111 #FILTER ON [HSC]
N10 X0 Y0
N20 X0 Y1
N30 X1 Y1
N50 X1 Y0
N40 X0 Y0
N4001 #FILTER OFF
