Axis exchange commands

In this paragraph the NC commands for are described

• Requesting of axes
• Releasing of axes as well as for
• Determination of an axis configuration

During every program start the specified [1]-27 axis configuration is restored. The axis exchange commands are active in the current axis group.In an NC-block several requests and/or returns of axes are possible. These operations are done in semi-parallel state.

The exchange of axes for which the synchronous or manual operation is active is not permissible. With active TRC, the first two main axes must not be exchanged. Axis exchange commands must be programmed single in a NC block. Axis exchange commands can only be used for path and coupled axes, spindle axes are ignored. For releasing and requesting of spindle axes special commands are available.

With effect from version V2.6. the already available axis exchange commands were reworked and extended in their functionality and mechanism. In the chapter standard axis exchange commands the already existing standard syntax of older versions is described. This syntax is downwards compatible and can also be used in future.

In the chapter extended axis exchange commands the new syntax is described. This syntax is downwards compatible to the already existing functional scope, but it offers with the so-called logic switches and additional possibilities for the definition of axis exchange sequences a more flexible programming.
