MCV_SetReducedFilter

The MCV_SetReducedFilter FB influences the filtering of actual position values of the axis and is usually used in combination with an axis that is configured as encoder axis (see P-AXIS-00015), which is not under control of the motion controller.

The FB only works, if a slave axis is configured to use the encoder axis as her master axis.

Parameters of the FB

VAR_IN_OUT
	Axis	AXIS_REF	Axis reference
VAR_INPUT
	Enable	BOOL	TRUE, parameter that indicates that fewer number of values should be used to do filtering of actual position values of the axis, gets active.
VAR_OUTPUT
	FilterReduced	BOOL	TRUE; filter calculation of actual values of an axis, that is configured as encoder axis, is based upon fewer values as parameterized.
	Error	BOOL	Indicates if an error has occurred.
	ErrorID	WORD	Error identification.

Behavior of the FB:

To influence the filtering of actual position values it’s necessary to configure the parameters of the group conv_sync within the axis parameter list ([AXIS]).
