Reduction of tangential transition speed (P-CHAN-00009)
Tangential contour transition between circles and circles with different radius, between circles and linear blocks and vice versa leads to jumping in jerk depending on circle radius. To reduce excitation of vibrations of machine, with nonlinear slope profiles this jerk can be reduced by activation of this function. At tangential block transition the speed is reduced to a lower value. The calculation is based on jerk adjustment of axis specific parameters (see also [AXIS]).
On the other hand, in some specific technologies the reduction of velocity at tangential block transition is not acceptable.
