Effect on acceleration (P-CHAN-00170)

By means of this entry, you can define that the feed override also influences acceleration along the path.

If the element is set to 1, the acceleration along the path is influenced up to a minimum value of 10% of the override value, i.e. the path dynamics decrease as the override value decreases (movements become "softer"). The influence takes effect on feed and rapid traversing blocks. If necessary, the acceleration in the event of an override change in dynamic movement phases towards higher values is limited. In the case of non-linear profiles and short ramp times, limiting by the ratio of the cycle time to the ramp time must be taken into consideration. The function is not active if the rapid traversing override interface is active according to P-CHAN-00181.

Effect on acceleration (P-CHAN-00170) 1:

The active acceleration in the case of feed hold is not changed!

If the element is set to 0, the value of the feed override has no influences on the acceleration along the path.

1

Beside producing a change in the path feed rate, an override change also produces a change in the acceleration along the path.
