Offset between drive position and CNC position (P-AXIS-00403)
For drives with absolute encoder with this parameter an offset between the position delivered from the drive and the internal CNC position can be introduced.
Using this parameter is only reasonable if the drive has an absolute encoder. This parameter is only effective, when P-AXIS-00014 is set to 1. |
The CNC position is given by:
As soon as the drive delivers valid positions, the CNC position is set according to the equation above and the axis is marked as referenced.
When occasionally, caused by external influences such as phase switching by the operator, the fieldbus or drive does not deliver valid actual positions the CNC position is reinitialized as soon as the drive delivers valid positions.
Variable name | Type | Permissible range | Axis type | Dimension |
abs_pos_offset | SGN32 | MIN_SGN32 ≤ abs_pos_offset ≤ MAX_SGN32 | T | 0.1 µm |
|
|
| R | 0,0001° |
When the used drive type does not support this parameter, a warning with number 110531 (see also [DIAG]) is outpout and P-AXIS-00403 is set to zero.
When the parameter is changed by updating the parameter list or with the #MACHINE DATA command, the changed offset is not effctive untill the next new initialisation of the CNC position.
