Home gantry slave axis relative to encoder overflow (P-AXIS-00393)
When this parameter is set a gantry slave axis is homed with the following method: At the moment when the master axis position is set the offset of the slave axis relatively to the encoder overflow is determined and the slave axis position is set to P-AXIS-00152 + distance to encoder overflow. No homing movement is done for this axis.
The mechanical axis position of the slave axis can be shifted by P-AXIS-00354.

This parameter can only be used if the following conditions are fullfilled:· The slave axis encoder delivers an absolute position within one motor revolution.· The slave axis can never be moved more than half a motor revolution in positve or negative direction with respect to the master axis.If this conditions are not fullfilled the machine can be damaged! |
