In the example below, two digital signals (with the ID 1 and the ID 2) control lighting (with the ID 1). In this case the buttons and the lighting are not linked in the TwinCAT Building Automation Manager, but by the manual connection of the two PLC blocks in the PLC program.

The free extendability by the user’s own PLC blocks makes it possible to implement performance features that are not possible by configuration in the TwinCAT Building Automation Manager alone. All types of IEC61131-3 representation are supported. In addition, all TwinCAT supplements and TwinCAT PLC libraries are at the programmer’s disposal.
