Self-contained Emergency Lighting

In addition to the standard instruction set, the autonomous emergency lighting (DALI device type 1) also supports a type-specific instruction set to meet the requirements for emergency lighting. The following dialogues are available for the configuration and operation.

Device

Self-contained Emergency Lighting 1:

For the most important functions, here are buttons for going to send a corresponding DALI-command to the selected device.

Ext. Commands

Self-contained Emergency Lighting 2:

Provides access to the specific commands of the self-contained emergency lighting.

Variables

Self-contained Emergency Lighting 3:

With DALI, the intelligence was not centralized to 100%. This means, that many settings and light-levels in the form of variables are stored in the ballast. The Variables-menu displays a dialog where you can review and edit the variables of the selected DALI-device.

Ext. Variables

Self-contained Emergency Lighting 4:

Displays all values of the extended variables.

Groups

Self-contained Emergency Lighting 5:

In this menu you can add each DALI-device up to 16 groups. When a DALI-device receives a command in conjunction with a parameterized group-number, it will execute this command.

Scenes

Self-contained Emergency Lighting 6:

Here you can store 16 different light-levels for scenes on each DALI-device. When a DALI-device receives a parameterized scene-number (e.g. as part of a broadcast), it will set the light-intensity for the scene. If the value of 255 (mask) is stored for this scene, the DALI-device retains the previous value.
