Copy and Paste

Copy and Paste provide the option to copy entire TwinCAT Building Automation Manager elements. First of all the component to be copied must be marked in the navigation tree. The Copy and Paste functions are then called. A copy of the element can now be found in the navigation tree.

Apart from the well-known Windows shortcuts Ctrl + C (copy) and Ctrl + V (paste), these functions can be called by three further paths.

The first possibility is offered by the menu bar in the Edit option. Here also, the element is simply marked in the navigation tree, Edit -> Copy is selected and Paste is subsequently called again.

A further possibility is offered by the tool bar using the corresponding symbols. If this is not visible, it can be displayed via View → Tool Bar.

As the final variant, Copy and Paste are available via the context menu of the mouse.
