Command Open memory scan

Function: The command opens the Memory scan view. In this view, the memory or an area of the memory can be scanned for a specific literal value. The memory positions found are displayed in the view with information on the memory area and memory positions.

Call: Menu PLC > Window

Prerequisite: The application is loaded and connected to the control unit.

View Memory scan

Value	Value to be searched for.
Value type	Data type of the value If the data type does not match the entered value, this is indicated by a red exclamation mark symbol.
Memory scan options
Area	Memory area to be searched.
Alignment	Memory alignment for the search Only addresses that are divisible by this value are checked.
