Static Routes tab
Static routes are routes that are already configured in the currently selected router.
Route | Name of the possible target system logged on to the current TwinCAT router The name is freely selectable. |
AmsNetId | AmsNetId of the listed target system |
Address | Address of the listed TwinCAT target system The address depends on the transport protocol being used. In addition to TCP/IP addresses, addresses of Profibus devices are possible, which in turn must support the ADS protocol in order to be addressed as "target system" or "remote system". |
Type | Protocol used for communication with the target system. |
MaxFragment | Max. fragment size of the Ams commands. If this size is exceeded, the Ams command is automatically split into several fragments by the router. |
Comment | Comment for the respective system, if configured. |
Add | Calls the Add Route dialog, which can be used to add further TwinCAT target systems to the routing table. |
Remove | Activated when an element has been selected in the list. If the button is pressed, a dialog opens asking whether the element should be deleted. The button Cancel cancels the deletion. The button OK confirms the deletion and the entry marked in the list is deleted from the routing table of the local TwinCAT router. |
