The names of groups, object protection levels and users are not encrypted and could be read. Access to the IPC should be restricted to authorized users via the operating system. |

The user can be changed either via the toolbar or via the main menu item TwinCAT -> Change Active User:
The user should only be changed when no project is loaded.
