Create and load configuration file

If you want to duplicate a TwinCAT system and have access to the feeds, or alternatively online access, you can save the configuration of the first system and load it on the second system. This means that all workloads installed on the first system are saved in a list including the corresponding versions in a .config file. This list is then installed by the feeds on the second system during import, thus achieving the same range of functions.

Carry out the following steps on the first system that you want to duplicate:

1. Click on the Save Configuration button.
2. Choose a folder in which the file is to be saved.
3. Confirm with Save.

Carry out the following steps on the second system:

1. Click on the Load Configuration button.
2. Choose the desired .config file.
3. Confirm with Open.
