Issuing a password

You can set a device password (admin password) to prevent (other) users from making their own configurations in the Microsoft Shell.

Proceed as follows:

1. Press Start > Control Panel > Password.
Issuing a password 1:
Menu window for the password properties.
2. Enter a password in the Password box.
3. Confirm your password by entering it again in the Confirm password box.
4. End the configuration with OK.
5. Restart the system.
The user can now only make settings after entering the preset password.
