Testing and operation in TwinCAT
In TwinCAT, you can integrate the devices via the virtual COM port and the TwinCAT function TF6340. In TwinCAT/BSD, for example, ttyU0 corresponds to COM port 0, and in Beckhoff RT Linux® COM port 0 corresponds to ttyACM0.The TwinCAT function TF6600 enables more than the autoread function and control via software.

For use with the SDK or with samples already mentioned, you need to set the RFID reader to "Virtual COM port - Bidirectional (for SDK)" using the previously stated "ConfigEditor" and set "APDU (via VHL) or Low Level" as the operation mode.
