Deleting a RAID system with the Intel Manager
This method deletes the RAID system using the Intel Rapid Storage Manager. The storage media can then be used separately again. You can delete a RAID system on industrial PCs with Intel Core I CPUs up to and including the 7th generation in the Intel Rapid Storage Manager.
Deleting a RAID system in Intel Rapid Storage Manager
To delete a RAID system in Intel Rapid Storage Manager, follow the steps below:
- 1. Click Start > All Programs > Intel Rapid Storage Technology.
- 2. In the toolbar click on Manage.
- 3. Click Delete volume.
- 4. Confirm the warning with Yes.

- The RAID system has been deleted. The storage media are displayed individually in the status overview of the Intel Manager and are no longer part of a RAID system.
