Deleting a RAID system with the Intel Manager

This method deletes the RAID system using the Intel Rapid Storage Manager. The storage media can then be used separately again. You can delete a RAID system on industrial PCs with Intel Core I CPUs up to and including the 7th generation in the Intel Rapid Storage Manager.

Deleting a RAID system in Intel Rapid Storage Manager

To delete a RAID system in Intel Rapid Storage Manager, follow the steps below:

1. Click Start > All Programs > Intel Rapid Storage Technology.
2. In the toolbar click on Manage.
3. Click Delete volume.

4. Confirm the warning with Yes.
The RAID system has been deleted. The storage media are displayed individually in the status overview of the Intel Manager and are no longer part of a RAID system.
