Output
The output provides an SELV/PELV/ES1 nominal voltage that is electrically isolated from the input voltage.
The output is electronically protected against overload, no-load and short circuit. In the event of a protection event, audible noises may occur.
The output is designed to supply any type of load, including capacitive and inductive loads. Capacitive loads should not exceed 2500µF with 2.5A or 5000µF with 1.25A additional current load.
In the event of severe overload (if the output voltage drops below 14V) the power supply delivers a continuous output current for 25ms. The output is then switched off for approx. 145ms before a new start attempt is automatically made. This cycle is repeated as long as the overload exists. The device starts operating normally again once the overload has been rectified.
