Description
Output and Synchronization
The M and H functions are enabled for each CNC channel in the channel parameter list via their synchronization methods. For safety reasons, M and H functions cannot be used in the CNC program if a synchronization method is not specified (in this case, the CNC generates the message 20157).
There are the following possibilities of output to the PLC:
- No output
- Output before motion
- Output after event
- Output after motion
Output to the PLC (HLI) can take place in different ranges of the interface:
- Output in the channel range
- Output in the axis range
The following possibilities of synchronization with a motion to be executed are available:
- No synchronization
- Synchronization before motion
- Synchronization after motion
- Synchronization at the transition to the next motion block with machining feed rate ('late' synchronization implicit)
- Synchronization in the case of an explicit request ('late' synchronization explicit)
- Synchronization during a motion block (example: push-cut edge shaping)
