The firmware and hardware versions (delivery state) can be taken from the serial number printed on the side of the terminal.

Syntax of the serial number

Structure of the serial number: WW YY FF HH

WW - week of production (calendar week)
YY - year of production
FF - firmware version
HH - hardware version

Example with serial number 12 06 B9 09:

12 - week of production 12
06 - year of production 2006
B9 - Firmware version B9
09 - hardware version 09
