KL1212 - Introduction

Bus terminal, 2-channel digital input, 24 V_DC, 3 ms, with diagnostics

The KL1212 digital input terminal acquires the binary 24 V_DC control signals from the process level and transmits them, in electrically isolated form, to the higher-level automation device. The bus terminal contains two channels whose signal states or errors are indicated by LEDs. The KL1212 generates a short-circuit proof 24 V_DC supply voltage for sensors. A short circuit or a wire break in the sensor power supply is detected, and the terminal status is relayed to the controller via the K-bus.
