Provision of a Beckhoff Image

Beckhoff provides several images of Windows operating systems. To use the images, they must be installed and activated. Microsoft provides security updates for Windows to increase the security of an Industrial PC (see chapter 2 Windows security) but they are not available for all operating systems. This can be the reason to switch to a newer operating system. In that case, you need a license upgrade. Afterwards, you can get and install a Beckhoff image of the newer operating system from the Beckhoff service department.
