Deleting the keys

Deleting the keys resets the TPM to a non-owned state, i.e. factory settings. The TPM can be deleted in the BIOS. The required options are available in the BIOS once the TPM has been enabled and the PC has been rebooted.

Please note that BitLocker and TPM are active ex works on some Industrial PCs. When the TPM is deleted, the Windows operating system automatically reinitializes and repossesses it.

Requirements:

Proceed as follows:

1. Restart your Industrial PC and press [Del] to start the BIOS setup.
2. Navigate to Advanced > Trusted Computing and set Pending operation to TPM Clear.

The TPM is now ready for operation and can be used under Windows together with BitLocker to encrypt the data carrierof the Industrial PC.
