Homing for SERCOS

For SERCOS drives both a drive-controlled RPT and a NC-controlled RPT is possible. The homing type used for the axis is specified in the axis parameter P-AXIS-00299 (homing_type). The default setting for SERCOS drives is drive-controlled homing. In this case only the CNC-parameters P-AXIS-00014 (abs_pos_gueltig) and P-AXIS-00015 (achs_mode) must be defined.

With the NC-controlled RPT with SERCOS drives no zero puslse search can be performed. Therefore, the axis parameter P-AXIS-00299) (homing_without_zero_pulse) must be set to one. Additionally the input of the reference cam signal must be defined in the axis parameter P-AXIS-00321 (reference_cam_signal).

If the position control of the SERCOS drive is performed in the CNC, a drive controlled RPT is not possible.
