Guidelines
Follow these guidelines to ensure IP67 protection:
- Mount plugs with the torque values specified below. Use a torque wrench, e.g. Beckhoff ZB8801.
- Seal unused connectors with protective caps.
- Ensure the correct seating of pre-assembled protective caps.
Protective caps are pre-assembled at the factory to protect connectors during transport. They may not be tight enough to ensure IP67 protection.
