Conductor losses

When planning a system, take into account the voltage drop across the EtherCAT P cables. Make sure that the supply voltages at any EtherCAT P input do not fall below the minimum rated voltage.

Power supply unit voltage fluctuations must also be taken into account.

You can plan cable lengths, voltages and currents of your EtherCAT P system using TwinCAT 3. The requirement for this is TwinCAT 3 Build 4020 or higher.
