UL Requirements

When operating under UL conditions, the following additional requirements must be met:

Environmental conditions

• Indoor operation only.
• Ambient temperature:
• Max. 55 °C if the input current is 12 A or less.
• Max. 45 °C if the input current exceeds 12 A.
• Relative air humidity: max. 95 %, no condensation.

Connection

Connection exclusively with UL-certified cables (CYJV or PVVA):

• With an ambient temperature of up to 45 °C and a maximum input current of 12 A, the cables must be designed for an ambient temperature of at least 80 °C.
• If the ambient temperature exceeds 45 °C and/or the input current exceeds 12 A, the cables must be designed for an ambient temperature of at least 90 °C.
• Do not connect the device to telecommunications networks.
