Configure overload switch-off

You can configure the overload switch-off for each output voltage individually.

The configuration of the overload switch-off is similar to the selection of a fuse: you select the rated current and the tripping characteristic.

The rated current can be set between 1000 and 3000 mA.

If the rated current is exceeded, the status bit "Warning" is set.

Examples of the switch-off time

The following table shows the maximum switch-off time of the overload switch-off for different currents and tripping characteristics.

Configure overload switch-off 1:

Shorter switch-off time with current limitation

The switch-off times shown only apply to output currents below the current limit.

If the output current is so high that the current limitation becomes active, the shutdown takes place after the thermal switch-off time. The thermal switch-off time cannot be configured and is usually shorter than the configured switch-off time.
