Configure overload switch-off

You can configure the overload switch-off for each output voltage individually.

The configuration of the overload switch-off is similar to the selection of a fuse: you select the nominal current and the tripping characteristic.

The nominal current can be set between 1000 and 3000 mA.

Examples of the switch-off time

The following table shows the switch-off time of the overload switch-off for different currents and tripping characteristics.

Configure overload switch-off 1:

Shorter switch-off time with 5 A current limitation

The switch-off times shown only apply to output currents below 5 A.

At 5 A, the starting current limitation limits the output current and switches it off after 75 ms, even if the switch-off time of the overload switch-off would be longer.
