Estimating the potential duration of a specific overload
The following charts can be used to estimate the potential duration of a specific overload. When making your estimate, please also take the following factors into account:
- initial loading of the I²T models
- cooling-off period between load phases
- non-constant motor current
I²T rise time curve
Time until a specific I²T value is reached
I²T decay curve
