Functional earth (FE)

Ground the wire ⏚ of the supply line connected to X70.

The earth potential is forwarded to the pin ⏚ of X71. If several devices are connected in series, only the wire ⏚ of the first supply line must therefore be grounded.

EP7402-0057

You can tap the earth potential at the connector housings of X70 and X71: use the nuts of X70 and X71 to screw on a metal sheet. In this way, EP7402-0057 can be connected to the grounded machine bed.

EP7402-0067

You can tap the earth potential at the connector housings of X70 and X71: use the nuts of X70 and X71 to screw on a metal sheet. In this way, EP7402-0067 can be connected to the grounded machine bed.

EP7402-0167

The EP7402-0167 has a separate connection for functional earthing. See chapter Functional earthing connection (EP7402-0167 only).
