Mailbox

The mailbox size can be set in TwinCAT.

Under EP6601-0002 -> EtherCAT tab -> "Advanced Settings..." -> "Mailbox" the "Out Size" can be set to hexadecimal values between 42_dec/2 A_hex and 1024_dec/400_hex bytes. Ethernet frames that are larger than the mailbox of the EP6601-0002 are fragmented by the EP6601-0002 or the EtherCAT master and reassembled after passing through the EtherCAT system.
