User scaling
From Firmware 05
Notice | |
Measured value resolution is reduced to 1 mg/LSB If user scale is enabled, the measured values are output with a resolution of 1 mg/LSB regardless of the set measured value resolution.
|
The transfer function of the user scale for the analog inputs is as follows:
| YS = GS * ( XS – OS ) | YS : Measured value after the user scaling XS : Measured value before the user scaling GS : Gain OS : Offset |
Enable user scale
The user scale is disabled in the factory. It can be enabled individually for each channel. To do this, set the respective CoE parameter “Enable user scale” to TRUE:
Acceleration | "Enable user scale" |
---|---|
X | 8000:01 |
Y | 8010:01 |
Z | 8020:01 |
Setting the scaling coefficients
Set the scaling coefficients via the CoE parameters "User scale offset" and "User scale gain":
Acceleration | "User scale offset" | "User scale gain" 1) |
---|---|---|
X | 8000:11 | 8000:12 |
Y | 8010:11 | 8010:12 |
Z | 8020:11 | 8020:12 |
1) The parameter "User scale Gain" is scaled with the factor 216 (65536dec).
The default value 65535dec of the parameter therefore corresponds to Gain = 1.
