Technical data 1:

**) Maximum number of bus devices

This value specifies the maximum number of node IDs that can be used. However, this does not mean that 127 nodes can be operated on one CANopen master.
This depends on many factors: Line length, baud rate, number of PDOs, amount of data, utilization of the bus, synchronous or asynchronous, cycle time used.
This data is required in order to obtain an estimate of how many CAN nodes you can actually operate on a CANopen master. Beckhoff can advise you on this at mailto:support@beckhoff.com.
