This LED indicates the terminal's operating state:

State of the EtherCAT State Machine:
INIT = initialization of the terminal;
BOOTSTRAP = function for firmware updates of the terminal

State of the EtherCAT State Machine:
PREOP = function for mailbox communication and different standard-settings set

Flashing

State of the EtherCAT State Machine:
SAFEOP = verification of the sync manager channels and the distributed clocks.
Outputs remain in safe state

State of the EtherCAT State Machine: OP = normal operating state; mailbox and process data communication is possible

DP slave is in DataEXCHG state and exchanges data with the master

Flashing 500ms on/off

The DP slave waits for parameter/configuration (WaitPRM / WaitCFG) or has an error and the data exchange is disturbed.

Please check the DP state and the diag history of the terminal.
