*1: "mixed" means "the same number of RX and RY are used or created".
Special feature of the decentralized I/Os (RX, RY), (BIT)
The I/O bits (RX, RY) of the decentralized device station (EL6711-0010) are divided into a user area and a system area. The size of the user area depends on the number of occupied stations and the extended cyclic setting. The system area always consists of the last 16 bits of the configured I/O bits (RX, RY). This must be taken into account during configuration!
Example 1:
For the extended cyclic setting "single" corresponds to the user area for:
- 1 occupied station: 16 I/O bits (RX,RY)
- 2 occupied stations: 48 I/O bits (RX,RY)
- 3 occupied stations: 80 I/O bits (RX,RY)
- 4 occupied stations: 112 I/O bits (RX,RY)
Example 2:
For the extended cyclic setting "quadruple" corresponds to the user area for:
- 1 occupied station: 48 I/O bits (RX,RY)
- 2 occupied stations: 176 I/O bits (RX,RY)
- 3 occupied stations: 304 I/O bits (RX,RY)
- 4 occupied stations: 432 I/O bits (RX,RY)
