Please note that the DPM algorithm generally performs compression over several waves. This can lead to limitations in accuracy, especially for signals with a period duration over more than one mains wave (e.g. wave packet control).

Measurement deviations due to ESD contact discharges

ESD contact discharges in accordance with EN 61000-6-4 on the terminal housing can lead to measurement deviations of up to ±1 % of the FSV in all channels. The use of the EL9550 surge filter terminal or the EKM1101 EtherCAT Coupler is recommended for fast transient disturbances in accordance with EN 61000-4-4 (burst) that affect the entire structure.

Surge voltages or fast transients (burst) directly on the inputs will be visible in the measurement signal. If this is not desired, activate a digital filter in the terminal.

Maximum permissible cable length

The maximum permissible cable length between the EL3475 and connected measuring transformers is 30 meters.
