Wire break detection
The EL33xx-xxxx terminals have a wire break detection of the connected thermocouple. Forr this purpose, a test current of a few µA is periodically sent through the thermocouple. No voltage measurement takes place during the test.
In individual cases this test current can have a disturbing effect, therefore the wire break detection can be switched off from the following firmware states in the CoE (object 0x80n0:0E, "Disable wire break detection"):
