The EL3014 analog input terminal processes signals in the range 0 … 20 mA. The current is digitized to a resolution of 12 bits and transmitted, electrically isolated, to the higher-level automation device. The input channels of the EtherCAT Terminal are differential inputs and have a common reference ground, which is connected to the 0 V power contact.
Overcurrent is displayed not only in the process image, but also by an error-LED for each channel.
