The EL3064 analog input terminal processes signals in the range 0 … 10 V. The voltage is digitized to a resolution of 12 bits and transmitted, electrically isolated, to the higher-level automation device.
The power contacts are looped through.
In the EL3064 EtherCAT Terminal the four single-ended inputs are configured as 2-wire versions and have a common internal ground potential, which is not connected to the power contacts.
