The EL3048 analog input terminal processes signals in the range 0 … 20 mA. The current is digitized to a resolution of 12 bits and transmitted, electrically isolated, to the higher-level automation device.
The power contacts are looped through. The EtherCAT Terminals indicate overload via error LEDs.
The EL3048 combines eight channels in one housing. The reference ground for the inputs is the 0 V power contact.
