The EL3044 analog input terminal processes signals in the range 0 … 20 mA. The current is digitized to a resolution of 12 bits and transported, electrically isolated, to the higher-level automation device.
The power contacts are connected through. The EtherCAT Terminals indicate overload via error LEDs.
In the EL3044 EtherCAT Terminal the four single-ended inputs are configured as 2-wire versions and have a common internal ground potential, which is not connected to the power contacts.
